Hope to Cope, Jewelry For Jesus
HOPE TO COPE - JEWELRY FOR JESUS
INSPIRED BY GODS’ WORD
DONE ONLY FOR HIS GLORY
BY RACHELLE REED
A WILLING SERVANT
As a servant of the Lord, we are to use our God given talents to glorify Him and bring others to know Him. By using the talents that He has given us, we want others to see Jesus in us, so they also will want to serve Him. Just as it states in Acts 20:24 “However I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me-the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s glory.” May this line of jewelry be a testament to the glory of God.
Hope to Cope started as a result of using the talent of beading as a ministry for a way to share Jesus with those we come into contact with every day. Women will notice jewelry when you are wearing it no matter where you go. You could be in the office, at a park, in the grocery line or any other common place and someone could notice the bracelet you have on, comment on the beauty of it and ask you where you got it. That then gives us a personal invitation to tell them the story behind it. Each piece is given to me after reading the Bible, and therefore has a scripture to share with others.
For example the first piece created is called "God First". The scripture is Matthew 10: 37-39 which states “Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” These verses are telling us to put God above anyone or anything else. That He is to be first in our lives above all things, otherwise we are deceiving ourselves as a Christian when we put Him after other things we think are more important. God is a loving God, but he is also a jealous God and demands we put Him first. Things weren’t working for me the way I thought they should be and I couldn’t figure out why, after all I thought that I was being a godly wife by putting my husband before myself and everything else after that. It wasn’t until I had a downpour and realized that I had been wrong and put God after other things in my life. I realized He is to be first above all things, even my husband and family.
This is when He truly gave me this line of jewelry. Afterward, for a few days every time I read my bible He gave me a new design. Yes, I had made other bracelets and people liked them, but they were not created through Him or for Him, they were made by myself and for my own personal satisfaction. The bracelet comes with a handy card that describes the meaning and can be carried to help to tell people about Jesus. You can purchase the bracelet or a bracelet/earring set by clicking on the BUY NOW button. You will be taken to GOOGLE CHECKOUT where you can complete your order.
James 4:1-8
What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that the spirit he caused to live in us envies intensely”
But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says”
“God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purity your hearts, you double minded.
Charm – Heart cross, Pink - Grace,
Black –You, Sinners, Purple - Knowledge,
Gold – God, White - Purify,
Brown – World, Red - Heart
Just in time for Valentines Day, the latest bracelet is called "Be Mine". As the verses above say, "Come near to God and he will come near to you", God is simply telling us all "Be Mine". Have you answered the call?
The "Unity in Faith" Bracelet is based on Ephesians 4:12 & 13 which says: "to prepare Gods people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." (New International Version)
In this passage of scripture, Paul is urging the Ephesians to work as one to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. He reminded them that we, as Christians, are all called by the only God through the same faith that is in Jesus Christ. He also reminds them that the purpose of the unity is so that we can all grow and be built up in that same faith. The same is true of us today therefore we can put aside the jealousies and just serve our Lord. As we see in these verses, God has given different tools for each of us to use but our purpose is the same and that is building each other up in the faith.
The following symbols are used in the bracelet: The charm has the word "Faith" on it. The bracelet is made of blue beads which symbolize faith and unity and clear beads which represent Jesus the Son of God. You can purchase the bracelet or the bracelet and earring set through GOOGLE CHECKOUT by clicking on the BUY NOW button.
The "New Life" bracelet is based on Romans 6:4 which says: "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." This bracelet can help to remind us, as well as those that see it on our wrists, that we have new life through Jesus Christ. The old is gone and we are a new creation that is free from the power of sin and death. Because of this new life, we have the power to live today as well as the assurance that we will live with God for all of eternity.
The bracelet features a cross charm with pink and turquoise colored beads that represent new life as well as clear beads that represent Jesus Christ. This jewelry can be an effective tool to tell others about the hope we have through Jesus Christ. The bracelet can be purchased separately or with matching earrings by clicking on the BUY NOW button below.
The "Beatitudes" bracelet is based on Matthew 5: 3-12 which says:
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophet who were before you."
In this passage of scripture, Jesus talks to us about the inner qualities that are pleasing to God. He promises blessing when we have these attitudes but we know that we could not do it alone. But, God has given us the power, through the Holy Spirit, to exhibit these qualities and impact the world around us.
The bracelet features a cross charm with beads that represent qualities that Jesus said should accompany faith in Him. The blue beads represent faith, red represent loving, pink represents grace, turquoise represents kindness, gold represents generosity, and clear represents mercy. It can be a great tool to not only remind us of these qualities but also a conversation starter to tell people about Jesus. The bracelet can be purchased through GOOGLE CHECKOUT by clicking on the BUY NOW button.
The "Expressions of Love" Bracelet is based on 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 which says:
"Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
The passage of scripture just before this one in the Bible tells us that nothing else matters if it does not include love. In 1 John 3:16, we are given the definition of love as it says that love is laying down your life for another. That may mean physical death as it did in Jesus but it also means putting others' wants and needs ahead of your own. The "Expressions of Love" bracelet, then, helps us to remember what love actually looks like.
The bracelet features a charm that inscribed with the word love on it. It also features blue beads that represent patience, yellow beads that represent hope, and red beads that represent love. Matching earrings are available as well.
The "Forever Family" Bracelet is based on Acts 2:38 which says: "Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'" The bracelet includes a cross charm with gold beads that represent God, red beads which represent love, black beads which represent us as sinners, clear beads which represent Christ, and turquoise beads which represent new life. We should take notice that, in this passage of scripture, we are told to be baptized into the name of Jesus Christ not into membership in a certain group that meets at a certain building. When we are baptized into Christ, it is a much bigger family that just a local "church".
This bracelet can remind us, as well as those that see us wear it, that through Christ we are adopted into the eternal family of God. it can be used as a tool to tell people of this and to let them see it through our actions as well.
The "Blessed Peacefulness in Jesus" bracelet is based on Numbers 6: 24-26, which states:
"The Lord Bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."
In this passage of scripture, God is giving Moses this prayer to pray for the Israelites (God's people). This is after the people left Egypt and would have surely been a comfort to them as they followed God and his promises. We, as did the Israelites here, recieve our peace from God through our relationship with Jesus Christ.
The bracelet is made up of a gold charm inscribed with the word "peace" and clear beads that represent the Lord Jesus, purple/blue beads which represent blessed, and green beads which represent peacefulness. This bracelet and earrings can be a tool to tell others of how they can find peace in the midst of this troubled world. The bracelet can be purchased separately or as a set by clicking on the BUY NOW button below.
The "Encouragement from God" Bracelet is based on 2 Thessalonians 2 16-17 which says:
"May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word."
The bracelet is made of a charm that bears a cross, clear beads that represent Jesus, Gold beads that represent God, Red beads which represent love, pink beads which represent grace, purple/blue beads that represent royalty, yellow beads that represent hope, and silver spacers which represent encouragement.
This bracelet can serve to remind us that God is with us no matter what we are going through. It also reminds us that "God is God" and that He has the power and authority over everything. If you know of someone that is going through a difficult period, the bracelet can be a way of showing your love and encouraging them as well. If they do not know Jesus, it can be an ice breaker to allow you to tell them about him.
The "Servants Prayer" bracelet is based on 1 Kings 8:28 which says:
"Yet give attention to your servant’s prayer and his plea for mercy, O Lord my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day."
The bracelet features a cross charm that reminds us that it is only through Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross that we are able to have a relationship and to offer prayers to God. The bracelet also features black beads that represent us His servants, gold beads which represent God, yellow/orange beads that represent strength, green beads which represent peace, and pink beads which represent happiness. Although the words strength, peace and happiness were not included in the passage of scripture, when we cry out in prayer to our Lord this is what we are asking Him for in our behalf a lot of times.
The "In The Beginning" cross necklace is a beautiful necklace that can serve to remind us that, even in the beginning, God knew that He was going to send His Son to the cross for us. The design features colored beads representing us and our relationship to God that are arranged to form a cross which reminds us of how we got our relationship. There is also a matching bracelet available.
The necklace and/or bracelet is based on the following scriptures:
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
These pieces of jewelry can be an awesome tool to help to explain to others about God, His creation, and our relationship with him. When you wear this necklace, people are going to ask you about it and you can then tell them about Jesus.
The "Spiritual Blessings In Christ" bracelet is made of colored beads and a cross charm. The bracelet is based on Ephesians 1:3-4 which says:
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight." New International Version
The bracelet can be a tool to remind us that God chose us before the beginning of time and that, through Christ, we have every spiritual blessing. What a blessing it is to know that the Almighty God chose us from the beginning of time to be with him. This can be an encouragement to us but also a great way of brightening someone else's day and telling them about Jesus.
The "He Bore Our Sins" cross necklace is based on Genesis 1:1 & Luke 23:46 which say:
Genesis 1:1
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
Luke 23:46
"Jesus called out with a loud voice; “Father into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last."
This necklace can serve to remind us that, even at the very beginning of the earth, God had a plan to save us from our sins. That plan included God's Son being nailed to the cross as payment for our sins. The necklace features a cross decorated with various colors of beads to remind us of this and to be used as a simple tool to tell others of this wonderful news.
The "Sing To The Lord" bracelet is based on Psalm 96:1-6 which says: "Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary." New International Version
With this piece of jewelry, we can be reminded to sing praises to God even through the difficult times. As the Psalmist says, the Lord is worthy of praise because of his wonderful deeds. We are to declare his glory and proclaim his salvation to all of the nations. This bracelet can be a tool to help us to do just that as others admire your jewelry you can declare the glory of the Lord.
The "Greatest Commandment" bracelet is based on Matthew 22:34-40 which says: "Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “Love the Lord you God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it” “Love your neighbor as yourself.” All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." New International Version
If you are like me, this passage of scripture may be hard for you to put into action. Sometimes, it is hard to love your neighbor the way that Jesus does but this bracelet can help us to remember that that is the standard. The bracelet can also be a tool to explain to them why you love them and even to explain to them what love is.
I hope that, if you make a purchase, you will be telling others the scripture behind it. A portion of the money will be used to buy more beads to make more jewelry to share with others and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for visiting my page. In His love, Rachelle
