Christian Classified Ads, Sharing Gods Blessings...
The principle behind our Christian classified ads comes from Matthew 25:31-46 in the Bible. That passage of scripture talks about the separating of the sheep from the goats. It is an example of what will happen on judgement day. Verses 35 & 36 states "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." NIV version
This passage teaches us that, when we give to those who are in need, we are in fact giving to Jesus. We are not giving or doing to be saved from hell but we are doing and giving because we love Jesus.
