Holy Ghost Deliverance Mission, A Light In Nigeria...Holy Ghost deliverance Mission was founded on the 24th of January 1999 in Ifo village, Ogun State of Nigeria. It is an apostolic and prophetic ministry with the mandate of winning and building Him souls that will go forth to bear Him good fruits before the return of our Lord Christ Jesus. Their statement of faith shows the basic beliefs of the members of this church. The mission was started by God's annointed servant and son, Prophet Dr. Gabriel Segun Ogunjobi who remains the senior pastor. Dr Ogunjobi was born in Ayede village via Ado Odo, Ota Local Government, Ogun State of Nigeria, West Africa into the family of Elder Samuel & Deaconess Funke Ogunjobi. He was saved in 1991, baptized in Spirit in 1998, and received the ministry vision in the year 1993. Dr. Ogunjobi was licensed by the Anglican Independent World Communion and received his honorary doctorate degree in divinity from Bethel Bible Institute in the Republic of Benin in 2008. He was ordained by Star Vision Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Dennis K. Eshelman in the U.S.A. in 2009.

You can get to know our Nigerian brothers and sisters in Christ and even witness lives being transformed through the love of Jesus Christ. Our partnership goals include the drilling of a water well on the church grounds in Ifo village. This will enable the people from the surrounding aeas to come and get free water. Just like Jesus at the well with the Samaritan woman (John 4:10), the people can come for earthly water and learn about the eternal water. This will be accomplished by hiring a local well driller to do the work. The expected cost is about $2000 USD. Another area of cooperation is the gathering and recycling of glasses. There are many people in the Ifo area who need glasses and cannot afford any. Enduring Freedom Ministries is collecting glasses to send to the church and the people will be able to go to the church and receive free glasses. We pray that, as they are given the means to clearly see God's creation, they will also come to see the Son. We are also collecting used computers that are capable of providing internet access to the people of Ifo. Dr. Ogunjobi will teach the people about computers and the use of the internet at the church. Ogun State is in southwest Nigeria and is known as the "gateway state". Besides Christians, Islam is the dominant religion. About 85% of the people in Ifo village are farmers while most of the others are small traders. Clean water is one of the largest problems there and non-farm jobs are scarce unless the people go to the oil producing areas of the country.
